SprintRetro Board Layout
Explore the interface - from sticky notes and polls to powerful sprint metrics and facilitator tools.
The SprintRetro board has been designed to provide a clear, collaborative space for feedback, discussion, and data-driven insight. This guide explains each part of the interface using the reference numbers from the annotated screenshot/diagram.
π’ Key Areas of the Board
β Polls Panel
Polls allow moderators to quickly gather team sentiment or feedback.
Start from a predefined list or create a custom question.
Only moderators can create or reset polls.
Polls are not visible to users until one is created β but visible to the moderator at all times.
Once a poll is live, it appears for all users (with the option to toggle it off individually).
β‘ Retrospective Columns
These are your main reflection areas (e.g. Start, Stop, Continue or custom labels).
Any user can add an item using the + Add Item button.
Column names, colors, and order are defined by the template selected by the moderator.
All feedback stays live and editable during the session (depending on visibility mode).
β’ Actions Column
This column tracks action items discussed or created during the session.
Add directly here, or link them from any item card.
Actions persist across retros, so nothing is lost.
The column is minimizable by users β but visible to everyone by default.
β£ Sprint Metrics Panel
One of SprintRetroβs most powerful features β real Jira sprint data inside your retro.
View burndown, velocity, sprint goal status, scope change, and more.
Helps teams reflect using both qualitative feedback and hard metrics.
Metrics visibility can be restricted to moderators via settings.
Optional: You can choose not to associate a sprint at all.
