✏️ Customize Your Own Format

Want full control? You’ve got it.

You can:

• 🖌 Add or remove columns

• 🎨 Rename column titles

• 📘 Edit column descriptions

• 🌈 Customize colors

• 🏷 Rename your template

• 🧾 Update the template description

These customizations are:

• Private to you - your personal templates are not shared across other Jira users

• Saved automatically - all changes are preserved in your “Custom” section when creating new sessions

🧠 Dynamic Action Column (Auto-Included)

Every SprintRetro template includes a dedicated Action Items column by default - there’s no need to add your own!

This dynamic column:

• Tracks new actions linked to reflection items

• Carries over open items from previous sessions (tagged as Previous Action)

• Lets users assign, edit, and close actions directly in the session

✋ Note: If you're designing a template, we recommend avoiding extra action-related columns to prevent duplication.

🔁 Editing During a Session

Even once your session is live, you're still free to modify the structure:

• Add/remove columns

• Change titles, colors, and descriptions

🚫 However, you cannot switch to an entirely new template after a session begins.
If you’d like to use a different format, simply close the current session and create a new one.
