Quick Estimation Mode allows users to cast story point estimates directly within the Jira issue’s side panel. No need to start a formal SprintPoker session β€” just click, estimate, and review.

This is designed for speed and convenience, especially when only a few issues need estimating.

πŸ› οΈ How It Works

  1. Open any Jira issue.

  2. On the right-hand panel, locate the SprintPoker module.

  3. Click to expand it β€” estimation cards will appear.

  4. Select your estimate.

  5. Once all needed users have voted, click Reveal Votes.

  6. View the estimation breakdown (as a bar chart).

  7. Optionally:

    • Reset votes to re-estimate.

    • Set the final value directly.

🧠 Why Use This?

  • No session creation required.

  • Great for quick estimates on one or two tickets.

  • Works well in team calls, backlog grooming, or async workflows.

Instead of starting a full session, you can:
